Bauer is out of Rival's Sara (owned by Robin Metcalfe of Kesa Kennels) and Tripp.  He is owned and loved by Kathryn and Dave Mercanti.  Here is what Kathryn has to say about Bauer...

"Bauer LOVES flyball...especially running in start. Bauer is currently running on Rocket Relay flyball team. He runs the course in an average of 4.0 seconds.

Bauer is also in training for Agility and enjoys playing Frisbee. He is hooked on swimming; however, he would rather swim at his own leisure. Bauer always has a great time being out-and-about either hiking with a pack, but especially with his sister Jazz or his close friends.

In the house Bauer is calm and loves to be either sleeping on his mat in front of the fireplace (usually upside down sprawled out :) or snuggling on the couch. He definitely has a great 'on/off' switch. He is excellent with kids, friendly with people and is an all 'round great dog!"

Bauer measures in at 20" tall and weighs about 41lbs.  He is a well built dog overall with good length of neck and back and a well angled rear.  He is slightly narrow in the front end but that is about the only fault to really speak of.  He has a very masculine head and is a powerful and fast dog.
 
Bauer is available at stud to produce puppies for working or performance homes.
