ABOUT POWER TRIPP BORDER COLLIES...

At Power Tripp our goal is to produce dogs that are sound in body, mind and spirit. All of our dogs live in our home with us. We do not have kennels. Our puppies are born in our living room and raised "underfoot" as part of the family.
We are always here for 24/7 support and advice for the lifetime of our puppies.  When you adopt one of our puppies you become part of the Power Tripp Family!  Our offspring have gone on to train and compete in Herding, Flyball, Agility, Disc Dog and Obedience and more. Best of all they make active, loyal, loving, easy to live with companions.  We only breed one or two litters a year and have an on going waiting list.  Please be sure you read all of the information provided about our Breeding Program before contacting us for a puppy.  If you should have any questions, comments or require further information please contact us.

We highly recommend and encourage everyone to consider adopting a dog or puppy from Border Collie Rescue before contacting any breeders. There are countless numbers of Border Collies in need of forever homes and most through no fault of their own.

We also offer several services including Boarding, Training and Photography!

Our Open Door Policy

It is common place for all breeders to boast the good points about their dogs but good breeding also requires knowing, acknowledging and making a true effort to correct the 'not so good' points. These can include temperment flaws, structural faults and health concerns. There is no such thing as as a perfect dog. As a breeder, all I can do is determine where my dogs need improvement and select mates that will compliment them and their qualities. If an issue does arise I would much rather do what is needed to prevent a repeat of that issue instead of pretend it never happened.  Ignorance, hiding the truth and "sweeping issues under the rug" only hurts the dogs in the end. I am very open and forthcoming about any and all of my own dogs faults and flaws, as well as any produced in their offspring.  Please feel free to ask questions as I am MORE than happy answer them to the best of my ability.
