JOE PYE
Our "foster dog" who decided he was staying forever....

Joe Pye came to us as a foster dog through Glen Highland Farm/Sweet Border Collie Rescue We found him a home where he lived for a year before he was returned.  He was then adopted out again... and again, he was returned.  Both families were unable to deal with his herding instinct.  I couldn't bare to to place him again since he fit in wonderfully in our pack....so here he stays!  Joe Pye is 100% deaf but this does not hinder him at all. He runs freely with the group of dogs, responds well to hand signals and is happy to herd the cat day and night.
