Romar's Just One Look
AKA: Smirk, Smirky Mirky, Little Man, Smirkapotomus DOB: Septemer 21, 2009 Breed: Bearded Collie Smirk is one of those puppies who chose me. Although I do believe then when looking for a dog you always end up with the one you are meant to have....I was NOT looking for a puppy! I had gone up to his breeder's house to take pictures of the litter for their website and the rest is history. The reason everything seemed to fall into place with Smirk all comes from the close connection I had with Fly. Fly was my first Beardie and he was VERY special. While I was taking pictures a little puppy crawled into my lap and pretty much didn't move the entired time I was there. I picked him up after a while and noticed he had one blue eye (Fly had one blue eye). Marsha then went on to tell me that this litter was a "J" litter (Fly's litter was a "J" litter!!!!) I then realized that it had been exactly 2 years that I had lost Fly on the day that I was there taking pics. Smirk's sire is out of Fly's litter sister too! I went home and couldn't stop thinking about him...and now here he is! Smirk is from Romar Bearded Collies in Brantford, Ontario. I can't thank Marsha and Roland enough for giving me the chance to be owned by another one of their very special dogs. Smirk is training in Agility, Obedience, Flyball and Disc Dog...but (just like Fly!) his mouth to ball/disc co-ordination could use some work! |
